Every year, for the ninth year in a row, the Fundación Arquía and the Academia de Bellas Artes San Fernando select a work to be awarded the New York Research Fellowship. This is an initiative that aims to give architects the opportunity to develop a theoretical project within an academic context in New York City.
For this ninth edition, 45 projects were presented to a jury that initially made a pre-selection of 20. And it was there, in those 20, where the project, BIM SkyScrapers Drone's Project, by the architect Raúl del Barrio Tajadura, from Burgos, was found.
His project is based on three fundamental axes for the implementation of a Master Plan for High-Rise Buildings:
Technology through Drones with point cloud and LIDIAR laser.
Development of Architecture and Energy Efficiency
BIM technology, a powerful tool for implementation in Architecture and Engineering.
