Use of Cookies
Cookies are files sent to a browser by a web server to record the user's activities on a given website. The primary purpose of Cookies is to provide the user with faster access to selected pages. The BIM and Partners website uses Cookies to personalize and facilitate the user's navigation as much as possible. Cookies are only associated with an anonymous user and his or her computer and do not provide references that allow the user's personal data to be deduced. The user may configure their browser to notify and reject the installation of Cookies sent by the BIM and Partners website, without this affecting the user's ability to access the contents. However, we would like to point out that, in any case, the quality of operation of the website may decrease. Likewise, the BIM and Partners website will be able to know all the pages visited by users, so that it can provide or offer information appropriate to the tastes and preferences of each user.

Types, purpose and operation of Cookies
Cookies, depending on their permanence, can be divided into session or permanent Cookies. The former expire when the user closes the browser. The second expire depending on when the purpose for which they serve is fulfilled (for example, for the user to remain identified on the pages of BIM and Partners) or when they are manually deleted.
Additionally, depending on their purpose, Cookies can be classified as follows: PERFORMANCE COOKIES: This type of Cookie remembers your preferences for the tools found on the pages, so you do not have to reconfigure each time you visit.

As an example, this type includes:
+ Volume settings for video or sound players.
+ Video streaming speeds that are compatible with your browser.
+ Objects saved in the "shopping cart" in E-commerce Services such as stores.

GEO-LOCATION COOKIES: These Cookies are used to find out what country you are in when browsing the web. This Cookie is completely anonymous, and is only used to help target content to your location.
REGISTRATION COOKIES: Registration Cookies are generated once the user has registered or subsequently logged in, and are used to identify you on the pages for the following purposes:
+ To keep the user identified so that, if you close a page, the browser or the computer and at another time or another day re-enter that page, you will continue to be identified, thus facilitating your navigation without having to re-identify yourself. This functionality can be deleted if the user clicks on the "close session" functionality, so that this Cookie is deleted and the next time the user enters the page he/she will have to log in to be identified.
+ Check if the user is authorized to access certain pages, for example, to participate in a contest.
Additionally, some pages may use connectors with social networks such as Facebook or Twitter. When the user registers on a page with credentials from a social network, he/she authorizes the social network to store a persistent Cookie that remembers his/her identity and grants access to the pages until it expires. The user can delete this Cookie and revoke access to the pages through social networks by updating your preferences in the specific social network.
ANALYTICS COOKIES: Each time a user visits a page, a tool of an external provider (in our case Google Analytics) generates an analytical Cookie on the user's computer. This Cookie, which is only generated during the visit, will be used in future visits to the pages of BIM and Partners to anonymously identify the visitor. The main objectives pursued are:
To allow the anonymous identification of browsing users through the "Cookie" (identifies browsers and devices, not people) and therefore the approximate counting of the number of visitors and their trend over time.
Identify anonymously the most visited content and therefore more attractive to users.
To know if the user accessing the site is new or a repeat visitor.

Important: Unless the user decides to register on the BIM and Partners website, the "Cookie" will never be associated with any personal data that can identify the user. These Cookies will only be used for statistical purposes to help optimize the user experience on the site.

How to disable Cookies in the main browsers
It is usually possible to stop accepting browser Cookies, or to stop accepting Cookies from a particular page. All modern browsers allow you to change the Cookies settings. These settings are usually found in the "Options" or "Preferences" menu of your browser.
